SUMMARY:Mineral Law in South Africa Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The South African Research Chairs Initiative (SARCHi) and the Department of Planning\, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) in collaboration with the EU-LA Mining Programme  held a workshop to introduce the Mineral Law in Africa (MLiA) Research Project. The workshop was themed Coordinating Mineral Regulation and Compliance across different organs of state\, and aimed to evaluate the involvement of different South African Government Departments in the mining sector. \n
