CLCB started the year off by attending a Mineral Law in Africa Workshop (MLiA) hosted by The University of Cape Town’s Department of Mineral Law, which took place from 12th -13th February 2019. It was a great honour for CLCB to be part of the workshop for the second time.  The MLiA Workshop brings together stakeholders from local government and the mining industry to discuss and share ideas and solutions concerning the governance of minerals in South Africa from an academic and practical perspective.
